Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Timbre is a multi-platform AI content generation service operated by Lorem LLC. The Service analyzes your writing style from samples you provide, then generates platform-native content drafts in your voice for platforms including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Threads, Medium, and Substack.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Ensuring that the writing samples you upload are your own original work or that you have the right to use them.
  • Reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before publishing to any platform. You are solely responsible for content you publish.
  • Complying with the terms of service of any third-party platform where you publish generated content.
  • Not using the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, misleading, harassing, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights.
  • Not attempting to reverse-engineer, circumvent rate limits, or abuse the Service in any way.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Content generated by the Service is produced by artificial intelligence models and may contain inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or errors. The AI-generated output is intended as a draft starting point, not as final publishable content.

Timbre does not guarantee that generated content is factually accurate, free from plagiarism, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing all generated content before use.

We make no representations regarding the performance of generated content on any platform, including but not limited to engagement metrics, reach, or algorithmic favorability.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all writing samples you upload and all content you create using the Service. By uploading samples, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of building and maintaining your voice profile.

The Timbre platform, brand, and underlying technology are proprietary to Lorem LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service software.

6. Payment Terms

The Service offers Free Trial, Starter ($12/month), Pro ($29/month), and Agency ($79/month) tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically unless canceled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect the current billing period.

Generation limits are enforced per billing cycle and reset on renewal. Unused generations do not roll over.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Active subscriptions will be canceled and no further charges will be made.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or fail to pay for a paid subscription. We will provide notice and an opportunity to export your data before permanent deletion, except in cases of severe violations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lorem LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
